BLEPHAROPLASTY

Blepharoplasty seeks to correct the lower and upper eyelids in order to open up and rejuvenate the outline of the eyes, thus giving them a brighter, younger and more alert look.

Generally performed under local anaesthetic, this cosmetic surgery consists of removing excess skin from above and below the eyes, by means of an incision made a few centimetres from the eyebrows. The scars from this will therefore not be visible. Recovery is very fast; whatever, rest is essential in order to achieve proper healing.
